Shipping Overview
All safes shipped to us are factory direct from the manufacturer to our warehouse. This means our safes avoid the damage that occurs from numerous stops, loading and unloading at truck terminals, and handling with moving equipment that can cause damage. If shipped as a single unit or in small quantities, many trucking companies have moving equipment and type of transport that can be unfriendly to safes with painted finishes, custom trims, decorative handles, etc.
Buying a safe through us insures that your safe is inspected by our staff in our facility before we deliver or ship it on to you! Therefore, we can guarantee your safe will be in the same factory condition as when we deliver it to you.
Delivery Experts
We have 19 years experience delivering gun and valuable safes. We offer complete garage and in-structure delivery up to 300 miles from either of our two facilities – Fort Myers and Pompano Beach. Our weight handling capability is 6,000 lbs for main floor, minimal steps. Deliveries on the 2nd floor require additional attention to detail.
In-Garage Delivery Process
1. We drive to your location with experienced, well paid American staff. We don’t need to e-verify, but if there is a question, we would.
2. Our trucks have no advertising or slogans telling your neighbors what you are getting. We are in the security business and we understand your privacy and discretion concerns.
3. Once we show up and offload the boxed safe on the pallet, our crew proceeds to:
- unbox the safe in the garage for your inspection,
- remove the safe from the pallet,
- attach any lights or dehumidifiers if ordered,
- level the safe to minimize or eliminate door swing,
- bolt safe to floor (additional charge) upon request,
- show you how to operate the unit,
- remove the packaging or leave box with you by request.
In-Structure Delivery Service
1. Flooring
When you want in-structure delivery service, we are aware of the considerable apprehension of having a heavy item brought in and moved across tile, marble, and wood floors. Our staff is first rate. We have had 19 years to perfect going over sensitive flooring. We have never had to use our 2 million dollar insurance liability policy. In-structure delivery included up to 40 feet of blanketing and plating the floors. Up to 85% of our deliveries involve tile, marble or wood flooring.
2. Steps
The basic delivery price includes two continuous steps, combined height of no more than 12 inches for up to 1,000 lbs. For safe weights over 1,000 lbs. a single step is included in the basic delivery price with a height of no more than 6 inches.
It is very important that all delivery factors are disclosed by you before we schedule your job. Being prepared, safety of our staff, and protection of your home and property are important to us.
